Well Eric Church showed his colors on the 2nd

Honestly, I am not a fan of todays so called country music, as a matter of fact I can't stand 99.9% of it. They shouldn't even be considered country music, it should be fake country music or country pop music. With that said, I liked Eric Church but he just made it to my boycott list and I'm bummed about that. Either you love freedom and our Constitution, 2nd included or you don't, no middle ground in my opinion.

I do not like todays country music any ways just some of the old ones.Alot of the old ones would not come out and say what this so call singer did and also so many of today. Also the so call pop singers.

Many of the country singers today are very pro-gun and patriotic. Toby Keith comes to mind for one. Many have appeared on hunting shows shooting various animals. I'm not familiar with Eric Church and from the sounds of it, I probably don't want to be.

He was one of the few newer country artists that I liked. Not anymore.

The part of the interview that really turned me was " I don't think that is what the founding fathers thought the right to bare arms looks like" or something to effect. What a crock. The founders were pretty clear on the subject.

No. So do we know why he shot and killed all those people other than he was unhappy with what a crap person he was himself? No. So do we know how anything the NRA has done contributed to the shooting? No. So what do we know? Eric Church is trying to appeal to liberals? Yes.

I like his music. Not anymore. Well I guess I can still like his music and not support anything he does.

I’m getting fed up with these people. All of these celebrities who purposely alienate half of their fan base. I cannot believe that it’s a good business decision. This world is changing fast when a country music singer is anti-2nd amendment.

Here's another link that say's a little more about this guy. He is very much entitled to his opinion and I respect that a great deal. I also am entitled to spend my money how I see fit and I will not spend another dime on his music. The way I see it is if I continue to support people like Church, then I'm supporting their ideologies and agendas and well, I can't do that and remain with good conscious.

It is your duty to lobby YOUR Congressional representative. They each represent about +- 700,000 people. Lobbyists and lobbying allow monetary influence over Representatives by allowing groups who may not have any stake in the representatives constituency to sway him to vote against what his constituency wants. It could put the wants of special groups ahead of what is in the best interests of the congressman's district.

My wife told he was also in the news recently for trashing Garth Brooks for lip syncing at a recent awards show. Garth chose not to sing as he had laryngitis. And that Church was really crying about it.
That right there was probably enough to alienate him from many country fans.

Would anybody say something he didn't believe to try gaining some kind of fan base? No American should expect anyone to do such things.
I visit the site because I love to trap, hunt and fish. I do wish there was more participation on the Wildcrafting forum. There some guys who post there that are a wealth of good information.
