I am curious to get your opinions on your definition of "Fake news".

Re: fake news - 08/03/18 06:06 PM

CNN is a prefect example.

Yesterday after Trumps cabnet briefed the press on what they are doing about Russia meddling in our elections i switched on CNN.

Instantly, they started asking how Trump can call the probe into colussion a witch hunt when his own people say Russia meddled. He doesn't say that Russia didn't meddle, just that the probe is a witch hunt but they ball it all togeather.

Just a few minutes ago, they covered his GREAT job and GDP numbers....for about 4 seconds before they started to bash him about other things. Even something good turns to bashing within 5 seconds, never fails so to me that's a biased station which in turn i call a "fake news station".

Anything written as a op-ed but being put out there as truth. Used to be journalist went after anybody to get the truth on them, exposing the nitty gritty and running the story for the readers to know the truth. Now, they make up stories or have personal ideologies they print as truth, but are lies or a op-ed. The press is DEAD!

I was out at the farm this morning and my mom had a news channel on (don’t know which one)and they were talking about the meddling and had sounds bites of Trump saying “we had a great meeting” injected in it. IMO, countries have been trying to influence elections for many years, if there so darn concerned about it, why aren’t they on the news everyday demanding a way to fix it and eleminate it. They report all these other countries are making fun of us because our President just happens to be a brash and not beat around the political correct tree type of person. Yet the media has been crying for over a year about this meddling. Instead of saying “hey we have a problem that has happened, how are we going to fix it. If asked, the citizens of other countries are probably laughing at our media more so than our President, truth be told. Doubt they will report that though.

Real news is dead it's all opinions not based on facts, even the old timers have embraced the loose style of todays news to stay relevant, just a bunch of spoiled children whining about everything they don't like the truth has nothing to do with it they ignore it at will.

Re: fake news - 08/03/18 10:11 PM

So looking at the posts and trying to cook down the definitions as best I can here is what the results are so far.

Biased=fake (7 votes so far)

Op-ed or opinion pieces= fake (1 vote)

All news= fake news (1 vote)

Social media = fake news (1 vote)

Biased news seems to be the top issue at this point. My question is shouldn't biased news be called "biased news" vs "fake news"? If biased news equals fake news then that means any biased news is fake news. Right or left. Fox is a known right biased organization as much as NPR is biased left. So if NPR is fake, then FOX is fake also if biased news=fake news.

If we try to say this particular (insert your favorite) news is biased in a direction I agree with so it isn't fake, then truth means nothing. Truth is relative to the viewer. How can a society function when we as people reject information as "fake" when it doesn't fit our preconceived (less informed) view? Shouldn't we call biased news "biased news" rather than fake? Or opinion pieces should be called 'opinion pieces"?

Re: fake news - 08/03/18 10:22 PM

All major news services are pushing an agenda so a person could argue that all major news service news is essentially fake.

There is no unbiased reporting that I know of. Fox is just as bad as cnn just different or at least they were in 2008 when I discarded tv service.

Watch what happens after this upcoming election.. If things go as they look like they will.. Russian collusion and Illegal aliens will be at the back of the line of things to whine about !!
Anybody remember the Dreamers !!! It's all emotion based and whatever they think will stir us to fight each other instead of keep an eye on the them . I'm absolutely tickled to death with our president. At the very least he's doing something for the country instead of stealing and bankrolling himself instead !!
I saw last night that the unemployment rate was the lowest in 18 years !!! Why isn't that the top story !!!! Instead it was a short one liner and then gone.. That's the real sad state of things now, we don't even get the good news when it happens..

Any "news" story that begins with: "unnamed sources say that....." is fake. I hear this phrase quite frequently, primarily on MSPMS, CNN, NBC, ABC and CBS.

About all you can believe is the local news now days. Where ya already know the story before it's reported because you saw it happen.

Creative editing of what was actually said, to change the meaning of what was actually said, to convince people who don't watch what was originally said, to follow the left, is most of the fake news.

If the POTUS had used the term "biased" it would have been more accurate and acceptable. How come almost all the TV networks seem to be "left" and maybe only FOX is on the right? Could they all be that biased? Maybe they aren't. They do all get suckered into the Days Of Our Lives soap box reporting though on crap that doesn't even matter. Unfortunately twitter messages tend to make everything matter when it shouldn't.

Re: fake news - 08/04/18 11:19 PM

The word "fake" is not the issue here. We deal with all kinds of fake stuff in many aspects of our lives every day. It is the word "news" that is the real issue here. In a world that values spin more than fact or politics over science why would we even think we would get news without there being a huge bent to it? A leaning I can handle but a 90 degree or a 180 is not what I would call news. Many of us fought for our 1st amendment rights I just did not fully understand that it was put out for bid by the highest bidders when I did fight for that right.

The mainstream media is owned and controlled by the wannabe new world order globalist government. They do not care about the United States and Trump has ruined their plans. They get their talking point every morning at 4 a.m. (so I have heard) and they all get the same message. They change the phrases a little so it doesn't look exactly the same..but.. it is exactly the same. We all know this has been the case for a long time. The last administration could do no wrong. This one can do no good.

Re: fake news - 08/05/18 12:39 AM

The news is definitely slanted and spun based upon the news network’s leanings. It’s sometimes hard to believe that Fox News and MSNBC are reporting stories from the same galaxy when you watch their broadcasts on any given night.

Something else I’ve observed is how the reported news is often wrong on many of the details of a story. I’ve been involved with a few mining stories that were reported on tv and in the newspaper. I was in a position to know the details of the events reported....what made the “news” wasn’t remotely accurate. Magnify that times all the other stories reported and you end up with an hour’s worth of nonsense passed off as the truth.

POTUS got the term "fake News" direct from the leftist media. They made that term up to attack internet news sources when they constantly (the main stream media) got caught lying. I was stationed in GTMO when the whole waterboarding thing was hot. The only station to accurately report what was going on in GTMO was fox news... I lived the story so on this small case I can definitively say CNN, MSNBC,ABC, NBC faked the news about GTMO...

Re: fake news - 08/05/18 01:11 AM

It's funny the guy that said that any news found on facebook is fake. Facebook, Twitter and the like are about the only places to get real news nowadays, besides C-span.

The days of a reporter investigating an issue and presenting the facts, minus his/her own opinion, are gone. And yes, that goes for Fox just as much as CNN. It's all fake, but those that DO watch the news usually choose to watch one that is biased towards his or her personal beliefs.

So, imo, the only way there is now to get real news, is to investigate the issues yourself and make up your own mind, which is where facebook and twitter come in handy. Examples of things I watch on social media are clips from C-span, local and national political debates and speeches, the President's rallies, the press secretary's releases, news clips (from any station, right or left) that actually show congressmen or fbi agents, or whoever speaking themselves. Things like that... things that can't really be fake because it's the actual person saying whatever he or she is saying, opposed to someone else telling you what they said and what they meant.

As for other things you might hear on the news, such as mainly numbers... being they pertain to the GDP, unemployment, the dow, crime rates whatever... can easily be researched yourself to verify if what is being said on the news is true.

So basically in my opinion, watching the news is fine. I do sometimes... and sometimes it will be fox, and other times cnn or msnbc. Usually, the "news" on fox vs cnn is complete opposites of each other... so that's when it's time to look further into the issue yourself.

The "fair and balanced" label foxnews tries to give itself is the most fake of all things fake. They are very bit as bad CNN or Msnbc. It is hard to believe anyone can watch any single "news" source and think they get the whole story.

Re: fake news - 08/05/18 01:55 AM

keith c is correct about the creative editing, and angela is right about looking into scenarios yourself, preferably before opening your mouth. trump made a statement like "I hate that these kids are being separated.....". this past week his words were turned around, and it was stated that he'd said "I hate these kids that are separated…." he went from hating the separation, to hating the kids.

I couldn't believe all the people that glommed onto this crap, and it continued to escalate, until finally someone straightened it out. all the "haters" disappeared immediately.

yes you can find real news on facebook, but you still need to verify what youre reading there.

Just maybe the real issue is not what is offered to us by any of the media news orgs, it is what we choose to believe. We make choices as individuals and we need to live with those good, bad and or ugly. If progressive and conservative news organizations can make good money convincing any of us what we should or should not believe then the are accomplishing their goals in our capitalistic media based world.

100% correct. But it seems that many want there to be a team they can believe is all good and the rest are all bad. They do it with news sources just like they do with political parties.

It isn't necessarily that lies are told or that facts are omitted.

Facts can be slanted depending on the phrase(s) used to present them...

If you don't believe certain words or phrases are chosen to paint a chosen picture of the facts at hand... I've got a bridge and a few national monuments I'll sell you at a great price.

As far as local news goes... Look at the graphics they display behind the anchors as they read the copy. Especially if the story line involves firearms.

If you don't think there is an agenda to program your perceptions you need to pay more attention.

Fake news is great: You can present your opinions as being fact and can pick and choose words to slant things any way you want.

Note: I edited to change the period I had at end of the first sentence to a colon. That was to guard against fake news. To make it so that if anyone wanted to quote just the first sentence they could not do so without bastardizing the punctuation.

Re: fake news - 08/14/18 04:42 PM

I listen to a few minutes each of CNN, FoxNews and MSNBC each morning just to see what spin is being put on what. This morning Joe Scarborough was all aghast because Trump offers a 15% discount on golf balls to federal employees at one of his golf courses.

When one of the talking heads in the panel pointed out that it didn't seem like a very big deal, the rest quickly assured her that it was indicative of the rampant corruption that has plagued this administration.

I was laughing when I turned it off. The really sad part is, there are millions of Americans who believe this crap. Some of them are even T-man members. It boggles my mind!

Re: fake news - 08/14/18 06:34 PM

Most of what is called news has little to do with the presentation of all known facts related to the topic being covered.
What is being passed off as news by most stations is little different than sensationalized, self-promoting, opinion pieces.

With the rise of personalities like rush limbaugh, media outlets saw that there was an eager audiance that would suck up all the venom spewed by such folks and it led to "news" programming that is meant to appeal to the extremist on both sides of politics.
Many listeners have become so wrapped up in their listening that it has become more like brainwashing than being informed. It has served to further divide Americans and has many of us looking to find reasons we are different rather than trying to find things that should bring us together for the good of this great country.

Grackle, why are your monologues always skewed hard to the left? You single out Rush Limbaugh for spewing venom but conveniently forget to mention the likes of Rachel Maddow, Anderson Cooper, Chris Matthews, Al Sharpton, Joe Scarborough, Mika Brzezinski, and dozens and dozens more on the left that do the exact same thing. The right has relatively few prominent commentators because the left owns the media. Yet you focus on one of the few?

Re: fake news - 08/14/18 07:21 PM

lug, you read into what is posted what you will. you conveniently over looked the fact that I said rush was one of the first personalities to gain a wide audience for a show such as his, and also that I said BOTH sides of the political isle followed. Maybe you didn't notice that rush was on the scene before the others you mentioned.

The far left AND the far right seem to have been brainwashed to a point that does will not allow themselves to see the damage that is done by extremist views that place all Americans with views that differ from their own as enemies....Maybe that is why you read into post things that are not there??

You always say that when nothing could be farther from the truth. You are correct about NBC. But FOX is the most balanced of them all. While it's true FOX leans farther to the right than the others who don't lean right at all. The difference is that FOX also has commentators that definitely lean left such as former Alan Combs, Juan Williams, Kirsten Powers, former D-Sen Bye, Geraldo Rivera, the guy from the Daily Beast, etc. Name some right-leaning commentators on the other stations. You can't because they only lean left.

Re: fake news - 08/14/18 11:18 PM

Worse yet

There is legislation in the works to make all social media a utility to be controlled by govt. To put that into perspective:. Trump would not have won nor be able to communicate with his base effectively with out social media. Because of how biased our main stream media is! Not that social media isn't censorsoring conservative speech. But govt intervention and regulation would surely shut conservative view points down all together! All hour little off the main stream news outlets would be shut down over nite due to permits, over bearing regulation, etc....

Guess with party is pushing the legislation to make social media a utility. Yeah, the Democrats!

I do think social media needs to be broken somehow. How? I dunno! But it don't need to be handed to our govt!!!!!!!!

Dunno

Swamp rats on both sides. They all want more power. That's what it's about in the long run I think. Control of info equals control of vote. I could see the reublicrats signing something into law that would fit the Democrats agenda simply because they are establishment looking for a life long power trip and pay check! It's the radicals up there that hate the American way of life, Constitution, capitalism, etc... That I'd worry about abusing it once they have it.

I always keep watching. My State has two worthless senators and one pretty worthless representative. Although she does actually respond personally. Unlike the two senators and their form letters. They are corporate shills. My State is controlled by one county and it is a constant battle.

Don’t worry, my state senators and representatives know me and get calls and emails all the time. My district is thankfully conservative and supports the rights of individuals. They also realize they are the representatives of the people, not special interests.

The leftist want us to worry about the russians interfering with our elections, it is the left! They start indoctrination of our children in kindergarten now. When they reach college, if any other views are presented, they resort to threats and violence? The very bias mass media pushes the left progressive agenda hard and feeds us misinformation(Fake News), the social media venues does the same also! Conservative views are being deterred or even eliminated on social media... the left is interfering!

This morning’s review of the big three cable news outlets: CNN reporting Trump insults the intelligence of blacks much more than whites despite Whitehouse claims that he is an “equal opportunity insulter.” They even had a graph! MSNBC lamenting how Republican candidates “suck up” to Trump due to what they (MSNBC) consider Trump’s stranglehold on the Republican party. FoxNews reporting the indentity of the Westminster terror attack suspect: Salih Khater from Sudan.

GDP at 4, under Obama it never hit 3 in 8 years, growing economy, lowest unemployment rate in 40 years, corporations moving back to America, raises for workers in many businesses because of corporate tax cuts. All this in less than 2 years amid constant harassment from the fake news stations.

Here's an example of hearing only half the news from other than FOX. Trump refers to a woman as a dog. Every news station, even FOX mentions it. A so called prominent person refers to Ivanka Trump as a c(I can't even add the rest) and it doesn't even make the fake news stations, only FOX again.

Mac,

People from all political affiliations are catching on to the Fake News being portrayed by many of our "News agencies."

"Drain the Swamp" is a metaphor used by our President Donald J. Trump and often chanted by his supports at rallies. This metaphor, "Drain the Swamp" is referring to President Trump's plans for sweeping ethics reform and make our government honest once again." Cleanse Washington of political insiders who are out of touch with ordinary Americans.

When I posted "Drain the Swamp this November" I am referring for people to exercise their right to vote this November and hopefully in partial the support of our President, Donald J. Trump. Sadly the left seems to have resorted to a different strategy... misinformation(Fake News), censorship, harassment, threats and violence.

Hopefully this clears up your confusion.

Good luck to you out on the trapline this season!

All the politicians who want open borders, we should do a test run... remove their fences and walls around their properties, remove the locks on their doors and windows. And then whoever shows up they have to provide them with health care, housing, education(through college, tuition free) and supplement their food and clothing as needed. All must be accepted with no questions! During the test we get to encourage all to visit these kindhearted and generous politicians also.

It's fun to point out that there is so little difference in the extremes of both parties. It's very easily seen if one has a mind that is open enough to allow themselves to see things as they are instead of how we would like them to be. Picking a side and sticking with it, no matter what, is a sucker's play. And makes taking the vote of such people effortless.

I sure don't want trump to be impeached. I do hope he does not run next time. A more mature republican would have an easier when. I don't see the dems doing anything to attract votes other than attack trump. Who will they run, a socialist???? As much as so many Americans hate trump, more hate socialism.

It also funny to see those who constantly whined about Obama while he was trying to turn the bush economy around, now whine that others express dislike for trumps childish tweets.

Politics as usual, I suppose.

It also funny to see those who constantly whined about Obama while he was trying to turn the bush economy around, now whine that others express dislike for trumps childish tweets.

Politics as usual, I suppose.

LOL, yea
I pick the pro gun/outdoor/conservative side and you pick the liberal/anti-gun side.

Politics as usual. crazy

And he did SQUAT to turn the economy aroud. Place regulations on every thing that made us what we are as "turning things around"? Get real! your acting stupid! All that bum ever did was give bail-outs to the renewable energy companies that went belly up as soon as they got the money.

Re: fake news - 09/03/18 11:09 AM

if/of, ever hear of a typo?

Anyway, the media outlets, even the state run media, have people assigned to cover trump's "tweet of the day". One would have to imagine that some do what they can to exploit the foolishness of some of them, while others try to come up with an interpretation that show trump in a good light. For most of the tweets, who would you think has the easier job?
Posted By: Diggerman

Re: fake news - 09/03/18 11:53 AM

The tweets are in English, don't require or need interpretation. Media should REPORT the news, not make the news.

I've noticed that those who control all the fake news outlets like to censor the opposition everytime they mention anything that is political in nature.

Someone told me it's because they can't win in debate with facts, logic, or reason. So they just don't report, report falsely, or straight up delete your posts Facebook articles so you can't reach anyone.

Focusing on President Trump's tweets and using them to malign him while ignoring his accomplishments seems petty and vindictive.

Maybe that should be the left's new platform; pettiness and vindictiveness with a large helping of anti-2A thrown in.

The democrats have recruited the very few ex-military personnel, who are democrats and are running them in 30 some percent of the more highly contested congressional districts. In the less contested districts the democrats are running their normal socialists, communists and sexually ambiguous, now main line democrats. The democrats are hoping to trick voters with their ex-military candidates into ignoring what the democrats now are.

Accomplishments? You mean like his continuing efforts to gut the ACA with no viable alternative in mind. I hate him and his spineless accomplices in Congress for this. The ACA has saved my daughter's life after her diagnosis of a deadly cancer. If not for the plan she had under the ACA she would not be alive today. His misspelling of 'Republican' is an embarrassing freudian slip that hides a deep-seated Oedipus complex. I don't think it's his job to come up with alternative. Not to mention ACA is unconstitutional from get go (he shouldn't have to gut it! Spineless? Guy just pretty much gave up his play boy life style to take on the establishment and save our Constitution! President Donald Trump has no war with the free press whatsoever. He does have an issue with members of the press who lie to the American people, who mislead the American people and who deliberately fail to give the complete story of the success of his policies.

Why would any honest human being like a liar, like many of our countries liberal journalists?

I guess I’m missing it! He has given law enforcement more support them they have had in 10 years!! I need a example of shutting down public expression. I sure haven’t seen or heard of it, and I live for politics. Re: fake news - 09/06/18 11:00 AM

Both CNN and MSNBC going on and on about the ANONYMOUS New York Times op-ed about the "resistance" movement inside the White House.

Both outlets assembled panels to speculate and bash. MSNBC even brought John Brennan in to lead the speculating and bashing.

Many described the author as a "high-level White House official." How could they possibly know that if the source is anonymous?

Speculation ran rampant this morning; dysfunctionality in the administration, talk of a 25th amendment to remove an insane President, speculation the author may be VP Mike Pence, talk of military commanders ignoring orders...

This is fake news at it worst and why the liberal press really is the "enemy of the people."

MSNBC covering Serena Williams' meltdown while losing the U. S. Open. According to Mika Brzezinski Selena has a lot of stress because she's a woman and the ref was sexist and because she's the first African-American women to be a big tennis star...

It was somewhat refreshing to not see any Trump bashing although I'm sure that was coming in the next segment. I think this morning was the first time in months I turned MSNBC on and didn't hear any.

At least they're not going on and on about Russian collusion for the moment...

Re: fake news - 10/04/18 11:02 AM

This morning's preview:

CNN doing a live shot with a reporter on a bus full of protesters heading to DC to protest Judge Kavanaugh's confirmation. It's all "Me Too" type women on the bus.

I can't believe how stupid these folks are. They are on their way to protest against a man who has done nothing wrong, in fact he has led an exemplary life. They have swallowed the liberal media lies hook, line and sinker and are now willingly participating in the spreading of those lies and propaganda.

And CNN is giving it full coverage.

MSNBC's Mika Brzezinski finds President Trump's supposed mocking of Blasey-Ford "flabbergasting" and launches into a diatribe against him. She calls him a "proud predator who grabs women by the genitals." She then attacks Sarah Huckabee Sanders for defending President Trump calling her a "disgrace to women" and "rotten to the core."

I watched the clip libs are all aghast about. President Trump is not mocking Blasey-Ford. He simply lists half-a-dozen or more things she can't remember pointing out the many factual omissions in her statements.

Fake news at it's worst this morning.

Re: fake news - 10/04/18 07:43 PM

Trump should have kept his mouth shut 'till the investigation and voting is over. He is using this to keep the flames of his base fanned.

That said, most Americans seem to have tired of the dems and their self-righteous indignation. They sit in judgement of a man who has actually worked to be one of the tops in his field and try to attack his character by going back into his youthful past and make accussations that cannot be proven.

The dems are digging a hole for themselves in hopes of delaying a nomination 'till after the midterms. By doing so they are losing votes for their candidates by the hour. The blue wave may turn out to better be described as a rise red tide.

People are not protesting because they believe a woman waited 35 years to complain about a high school assault.

They are upset because they see a chance Roe V Wade may be overturned.

I think that is unlikely. If it is overturned, an unlikely possibility, it will be up to the individual states to write and enforce abortion law. I think a lot of states will keep it unrestricted.

Re: fake news - 10/09/18 07:06 PM

What if Kavanaugh was guilty 36 years ago? Look at Wild Bill prior to his running for president. Numerous affairs prior to and on going, and after he became president. Democrats, the main stream media, Hollywood idiots, etc, said it doesn't affect his ability to run the country. But, with Kavanaugh it's wrong, disqualifies him to be a judge. Isn't being president as important as being a judge? What a double standard!

With regard to Clinton, I don't remember people protesting, violently harassing people from that party in restaurants, making physical threats, throwing stuff at democrats, blocking roads, etc. Makes it pretty plain to see which side of the fence the animals live on.

Got this sent to me this morning. Don't know if it's true or not. Anybody verify it?

Dr. Ford is being treated by a psychiatrist for "Delusional Disorders". But, nobody on the judiciary committee bothered to ask about it.

(Delusional disorder, previously called paranoid disorder, is a type of serious mental illness called a psychosis in which a person cannot tell what is real from what is imagined. The main feature of this disorder is the presence of delusions, unshakable beliefs in something untrue or not based on reality.)

Re: fake news - 10/13/18 01:35 PM

I was watching a liberal talking head on CNN last evening spewing her poison; going on about how President Trump has created a culture where "journalists" are "the enemy of the people" and evil dictators are friends to be cozy with and great guys with lots of potential.

I wonder how they will spin his most recent comments about "severe punishment" if Saudi Arabia is found to be behind the suspected death of journalist Jamal Khashoggi.

Re: fake news - 11/11/18 01:16 PM

This Veteran's Day morning FoxNews was doing a segment on "Modern Warriors" and paying tribute to American Veterans.

Even MSNBC did a short piece about Black Rifle Coffee Company, a veteran-owned company that supports vets and conservative American values.

Meanwhile over on CNN they continue to promote racism and division in the Country by celebrating the fact that seventeen "black women" were voted into judge positions in a single County/district in Texas.

The president has shown that is cannot be asked legit questions without taking offense and responding like a spoiled child. He is a petty man who attacks anyone who dares question question him.
The man certainly knows the mentallity of the most base of his base. And he loves to be cheered by his followers, which is the reason he holds so many pep rallies where they can gather to worship him.
There have been other leaders in history who behaved much like trumps does.

Fox had some vets on, the only station woth watching this morning.

I didn't go to MN whatever it is. I watched the vets.

Well I felt like cheering when he put that piece of crap Acosta in his place. If, in your opinion, that makes me a worshiper, I'm okay with that.

Your veiled reference to Trump's likeness to Hitler is as old, tired and ridiculous as the rest of your liberal diatribe.

"fake news" is one of the trumpster's favorite responses anytime something reflects negatively on him. He even does it when there is video clearly proving he lies.
And lug, the three stations you mention are definitely the most fake of the sources of fake news.

I can't stand Hannity either. The guy just prattles on and on endlessly with all kinds of sensationalist BS. My wife like him though so I make myself scarce during that hour.

Anderson Cooper is an abomination. The fact that he is revered by the left says all anybody needs to know about liberals.

Sure. A good example is trump telling the press he doesn't know the man he made attorney general last week, when he clamed he knew the same guy very well when talking about him on Oct 11.

If anyone doesn't think trump wants him because of his view of the ongoing investigation, it's clear how some can believe trumps fake news and call what really happens fake.

Watched CBS Sunday morning and out of the blue statistics on American gun ownership not related to any story of the day, so they say they don't try to influence the people but why the "random" statistics if not to influence their viewers. Yes we own a lot of guns but they leave out the fraction of the numbers they listed that are used for evil and rarely show a pro gun use without a slant to the story.

A better example would be 90% of what is editorialized and presented as factual news by CNN, MSNBC, ABC, CBS, NBC, PBS, The New York Times and many other examples.

It points out the nerve of somebody who has been caught lying again and again and then accusing others of "fake news".

Now, it is true that the "news" on the stations that you mention(msnbc, cnn, fox) may be poor sources when one wants to be informed. Those that lean hard left ignore the good that has come for the trump presidency and look for anything they care that is negative. Fox ignores all the lying and looks for ways to blame every bad thing on the dems or the media, holding trump accountable for nothing.

trump crying fake news is a lot like fox pointing at others and claiming biased media. grin

What did your superior sources say when fast and furious, Bengazi, spys on fox news reporters and the IRS scandel went down.

They did a better job than any of those mentioned did. Fake news is not as common as biased news reporting that spins everything they acatually do report. If a story cannot be made to, the 3 mentioned simply don't report it.

CNN this morning:

Some congresswoman from Minnesota Who is on the arms committee talking about how climate change is going to adversely affect our military preparedness. After all, she said, “our navel bases are going to be under more and more water.”

I am not making this up, that is exactly what she said. I can’t take that high level of stupidity so I turned off the television and have nothing further to report.

Nice deflection. What I said has nothing to do about either presidents behaviour, it was pointing out YOUR behaviour.

But it's an excellent question for you to answer since it didn't bother you when Obama did it, but now you don't miss a chance to blame Trump for it. Kinda like the media, overlook everything bummer did but now it's a travesty ! Lol

CNN this morning: “The white supremacist responsible for the mass shooting in New Zealand published a manifesto of hate speech that can be directly linked to Trump’s rhetoric.”

So there you have it folks, the mass murder in New Zealand was Trump’s fault.

Meanwhile on MSNBC: They are calling the fact that the New York State attorney has charged Michael Cohen with many of the same crimes he was just sentenced for in federal court, “Trump’s Nightmare.” They are referring to the fact that these charges will be “pardon proof.”

Never mind the fact that most lawyers and legal correspondents are saying none of these charges will stick because double jeopordy applies.
