Pasadena, You are correct. He gets really good grades in school and takes advanced classes. HE has to decide if he wants to play college ball and at what level. He also has to decide if he is willing to take on that type of commitment. Ultimately, it will be his brain that pays his bills, not football.
That is great that he has the grades. If he wants to continue to the next level, with brains and big stature and talent he can write his own ticket to where he wants to go to college. Let the brains and build pay his way through.
My nieces boyfriend let his brains and build help him through college, he is a Senior/DE for Harvard.
