Woodstream Traps - 08/30/18 10:52 PM

I just picked up some used Woodstream coyote and fox soft-catch traps. I was not really in the market, but had an opportunity to lump in with other stuff. I’m not able to find much info other than I see they carry the Victor stamp now. Condition wise they are solid traps and in good condition. The rubber is cracked on most, but the deal included a bunch of replacements. I’m not a soft-catch kind of man, nor required to use rubber padded jaws, SO is a guy better off modifying and using or selling as is? What would be a fair asking price? I have 60+ coyote and 11 fox. They are 2-coiled, short chained with springs. Thanks in advance!

I'm sure wissmiss can tell you all you need to know if she sees this thread. A quick google search found this:

As I understand it, you can remove the rubber and use them as an offset.

I did find that timeline for Woodstream, but was hoping for more specific information on these soft catch if anyone has personally used them or sold them. They seemed to be a short run on production before moving to the Victor name, so do they hold any more value for that reason? I will likely sell them because I switch to snares when our ground freezes and don’t have a big need for these. Thanks all.

I have some of them too and from what I can tell they don't have much collector value. If they were in new condition maybe worth a little more but used they are worth the same as victor. IMO.
