I was in Thailand, and the Philippines last winter and spring. I cant wait to go back to the Philippines this winter. Thailand is cool but not my style. Always nice to be able to communicate in English like most do in the phills.
I found a cool little island town with awesome beaches, and pretty girls everywhere you look, good food , cheap prices, cool mountains to chill in, clean spring water streams. Has free hydro power and water for the residents. I plan to retire there someday.
I cant get back soon enough.
well almost 20% of my life has been in s.e. asia....i speak tagalog and my son was born there....I will probably never give up usa but right now i miss home....the educational system in my area is very lacking for my son...they are still 2 yrs behind in many areas. Also he is bi lingual and tri lingual and its not challenging for him here. The only other languages he gets are at home.

Never been there but have known people that are from there.

If you love it there so much why don't you move there? As for me, I'll stay right here in the good old U.S A.

Some of us enjoy travel. It’s ok to like multiple places you know. People are kind of like water... starts to stink when it gets stagnant.
some questions or comments dont require justification.
