Knife gurus needed.

Knife gurus needed. - 10/22/18 10:38 PM

Bought a box full of what looks to be some good cutlery sight unseen for a great price today. Just now getting to look through it. Whilst the drool puddle grew after pulling out nice older westerns, solingan German and some other good and not so good blades, in the bottom was a Benchmade box. I figured a clunker would be in it was surprised to pull out a brute of a knife.

The box nor the knife have a name on it. Looks to have a fold out gutblade on it. So before I fire up all the search engines, I know there are some here that can clue me in. Thanks

Yikes sniper, now I know why I've never owned a Benchmade. I always fall into the category that the more expensive a knife is, the quicker I lose it. I figure I won't be able to find this one again in about ten minutes....

I know a lot of guys that buy knives like that one just put em in the safe. Especially the old Blind Horse Knives company that was out of Cambridge

Looking through their catalog...I dont even see that point style anywhere. Its a cross between a sheepfoot and tanto.

I don't see any like it, closest I see is the tactical/rescue. Did find on the blade DA 49.
I'm gonna call the guy and make sure he's ok with the deal. Hate to think he didn't know that was in there.

If I carry this in a pocket, I'm gonna have to man up and get some suspenders. Can't believe I haven't lost it yet.

I like benchmade, boker and a whole lot of others. But this is what I'm into carrying now. Hand forged.
