J-hooks

when you change out disposable anchors on coyote traps do you use new j-hooks or just use the old ones????

new,save the used ones for mink traps or scrap.reusing will create a failure eventually.

I always use new, never reuse. They are cheap, not worth risking losing a critter.

I never use J-hooks. Had too many fail on reuse.

I use 3/16 connectors. Easy to remove the trap or replace.

Factory j hooks are too soft.

I keep the heavy duty J hooks on hand and replace them.

Always learn here, I always reuse my heavy duty JHooks...guess I better re think this...
