A GIRL IN PA NEEDS YOUR HELP!

You may have heard by now that the 11 year old daughter of Jason and Holly Leakway ( Leakway's Trapping Supplies) was flown to Hershey Med earlier this week because of a brain bleed. She was operated on and is doing ok right now but has a long road ahead of her. The Leakway family lives in District 11 and they have been coming to our District 8 shows and the Rendezvous for several years now. Jason also worked at Johnson's Furs over the last several years.
Doug Chubb would like to do a " Get Well Soon" Coyote board for their daughter with trap tags from trappers all over PA. It does not matter if you have a name or a PGC # on your tag, both will be used. If you would like to have your tag on the board please send it to Doug at the address below. If you know other trappers who may be interested by all means ask them for a tag also. I would like to thank Doug for stepping up and taking on this very worthwhile show of support from our PTA trapping family!

*PLEASE READ*
In early November, Alyssa Leakway suffered from an AVM- an arteriovenous malformation, which is a genetic issue that many people have, but nothing happens. However, Alyssa's AVM ruptured, and she was airlifted to Hershey Medical Center. She underwent surgery, and she is now in recovery, and making small improvements each day.
Alyssa was not awake for her 11th birthday, which was December 5th. She enjoys hunting, trapping, and fishing. She comes to all of the District-8 shows and helps out her parents, Holly Leakway and Jason Leakway, who own Leakway's Trapping Supplies. Alyssa is a life member of the Pennsylvania Trappers Association, and she lives in District 11.
