I hear ya! Hate it when they put up pics of something that has absolutely nothing to do with the story.

Also hate the fact that they fail to mention how the guy killed it. Maybe he had a concealed carry permit and shot it but the media doesn't want to shine a good light on gun ownership?

The story of the African lion at the zoo is a completely different story, they have a photo of a mountain lion with the story.

I read the Denver post story as well
They my release cause of the lions death after the necropsy is completed

I get that, but with no caption or any mention the the picture is a link to a different story, it looks like it is part of this article. Just struck me as amusing.

I'm sure every citizen is asking themselves "How on earth did the guy kill an 80 lb mountain lion while on a run?" I don't think a person can read anything more into this story than it was just plain poor reporting.

Its not getting to be like ca it is like ca. This is going to happen more and more with the new lion quota system. Lots of coyotes killing deer making it even worse

This happened in a firearms prohibited area. Might be corps land but I am not sure.
