Good day today

Good day today - 02/17/19 01:04 AM

I woke up at 0500 in pain and had been planning a yard sale but had to say nope. Later I was sick of being home with the kids and forced myself to leave we made it to the outdoor expo here. Immediately ran into my uncle and aunty and we caught up for a bit. Walked around saw a friend and we all headed to the fishing pool. All 3 kids caught fish and won cool stuff. Daughter won 2 hours of archery range time, oldest son won a fishing pole and my youngest won a teddy bear.

I could only capture 1 photo of my daughter and 1 of her fish. My buddy has a better picture. The smile says it all

Awesome! Kids grow up and are gone way too fast. Enjoy each other and make many good memories.

They sure do Dan. I absolutely try my best to create memories. When I take them out I spend next to nothing and get smiles that light the room. I only paid $5 to park.

My son's fishing pole is a 5' Zebco Micro z glass. Perfect timing, as he was getting to big for his other fishing pole and the reel is starting to give out

Thanks mink. Nope it's sure hard to beat. I cherish the moments more and more. I try my best to get them out as often as I can. My oldest (pictured) is 10, it's gone way too fast.

Sorry I forgot I took this pic. My youngest at the helm of this crazy expensive toy. Payment with excellent credit is more than my mortgage.

Adam, I'm glad your conquered your sickness for the day and got out to make memories with the kids and saw your family. I wish I could wave a magic wand and take away everybody's chronic illness, such as yours and my wife's PMR arthritis, among other things. You showed that you cared more about being a dad then letting your pain win today. That takes courage and determination, and not everyone can master that. I continue to pray for a complete healing for you. May 2019 be a blessed year for you and your family!

Thanks for the encouragement prayers and kind words NonPCfed. I really appreciate it. I wish there was a magic wand too. Within 5 minutes of driving to the expo I was feeling bad and told the kids I don't think I can drive and have to go home. As God would have it and allow, the next thing I know we were paying for parking. It was a great day for sure. I'll be praying for your bride.
