You don't need pics. A super detailed description will work.

What is the recipe?
Every time I try to make apple crisp, it comes out apple soggy. I would like to have a good formula for making the concoction come out crispy.

One of my mom's greatest dishes. I hope you enjoy it. The black raspberries in it sounds good.
Haven't had it since she died long ago.

I sent a pic to lugnut,
No rhubarb in France? If it wasn't so far away I'd send you some!!
The rhubarb I grow, black raspberries too, the strawberries came from a Berry farm, I went to two different farms n bought 110$ worth, I got too many at one farm, and wanted to try the other farm, which was cheaper

I suppose you could use artificial sweeteners? About half cup white, half to three fourths cup of brown sugar

Re: Made rhubarb-strawberry crisp tonight - 02/22/19 01:13 PM
You could use 3/4 of sugar the recipe calls for. Our family uses sucanat. Sucanat is dried sugar cane that's not refined like regular sugar. You could probably still get diabetes if you eat huge amounts.
