Snowflakes....literally

Anyone else notice that EVERYONE freaks out about a tiny snowstorm anymore? Is it social media making everyone psychotic about it? We are supposed to get 3-6 tonight and its all i heard about all day. Its FEBRUARY. Im gonna keep watching Rocky IV- hes about to run where the Russian’s snow chains wont take them.

The media has become pretty much exclusively driven by ratings & profit, and they figured out that drama sells. Hype, panic, rage, hysteria. Doesn’t matter if it’s politics, stock market or the weather, they gotta spin it, and the sheeple of the nation act however they’re told to.

Schools shut down yesterday for 1". City also shutdown no mail.
By lunch time we had 5" by dinner it was all gone.

It's the end of the World as we know it!!!

It really all goes back to the old liability and who pays for what. No body wants to be the one that says get your butt to school..One kid gets hurt because they don't know how to dress for weather or even cross the street by them selves. Someone want to sue someone, city,county state, didn't clear the roads right, some person didn't shovel their walk..Janitor left wet spot in the entry way someone fell..
Every thing is always someone else fault and no one wants to be that person who gets blamed. Easier to just shut thing down because were all going to die..

Most new vehicles come with highway tires that are useless it gets harder and harder to even find a good "Snow" tire the wife's jeep came with mud and snow tires and they are just a highway tire is all they are. heck my Tacoma "Off Road" had useless highway tires on it. More worries about the noise then how well they work!

Better get your milk and bread before the big 2" storm hits.
