Very nice pieces. Can you explain what we are seeing on the blades in the first 2 photos that seems to be polished off in the pics of the final finished pieces?

Very nice over all geometry ..... shame that the grind of the bevel is the way its done. Or is it one of a set of steak knives ??

I brought the knife to a mirror polish first then put a barrier on the knife in any design that you can think up let it set until dry. Then it when into acid for an hr, then washed the blade and barrier off and buffed out which is why you have the mirror look on the parts the barrier was on.

Please explain why its a shame? And no there there not a set of steak knifes.

I don't, i mostly just post pics to my social media site and they're gone with in a couple of hrs. I'm trying to get a stock pile so i can finally get my website up and running and have something to put on it.

The bevel on the cutting edge looks pretty steep ( blunt ) It may be the picture. But it just looks that way from here. That is why I asked if it was a steak knife as that grind is ok if one is going to dull the thong anyway when cutting on a plate.

Those knives look nice. It's hard to judge a knife until you have it in your hands.
