Update on my daughter ,Alexys

Hey guys.i havent been on lately because I am still dealing with my daughters illness.
She has been hispitalized twice since January.

Good news is that she has been accepted to a hospital.
I have filled out all paperwork required so she should be going within a month.

I hate to think of her going away for treatment but she needs daily medical monitoring so that they are able to get the right mix of medicines for her.

We are still working through the relgious ideation part of her illness but it has allowed us to learn about the Bible and salvation together and in depth, and thays been a Blessing to both of us.

Thank You to everyone who has offered up Prayers for our situation.

I'm both relieved and worried about her acceptance to the hospital.

Hopeful that she will get the help she needs but worried at the same time because I am entrusting my daughter to strangers 7 hours away.

My stomach turns at that thought.

I can't imagine not having her here for a minimum of 6 months and it could possibly be even longer.

Please keep us in your Prayers.

How old is your Daughter?Often adolescents will grow out of these things with proper support.

Shes 15 but jas been struggling with her illness since 13 but it has recently went haywire.
They are certain that she will not grow out of it but that it will continue to worsen.

What ever the diagnosis was it may be wise to get a second opinion,if the current treatment falls short.

Put her in GOD's hands. Let her know she is loved by many of us here, that she may never meet in person.

and never forget how many people here have your best interest in mind and are more than willing to do anything for ya young lady.even if its only a few kind words,this place is amazing in that aspect.

Praying for you all. Far away medical treatment is best. My granddaughter lives in Florida and went to Philadelphia PA for treatment. Best thing they did for her.

Lord We ask that you lay your healing hands on Cathryn's daughter, and the medical staff that will be working with her, that she Will be completely healed. I pray this in our Lord and savior and redeemer's name Christ Jesus. AMEN!!!

Thanks to everyone who remebers my daughter in prayer. )n the last few days the crying has stopped but she is now experiencing sever tactile hallucinations. ots all part of her illness. it just seems like there always something new and a little worse thn before to deal with.

I wanted y'all to know that I will be delivering my daughter to an out of state hospital on March 4th. all thw paperwork has finally came through.

its a 6-7 hour trip from me.

im worried to death about her but she needs some help and at this point its our only option.

please pray for her..i. sure shes scared. she isnt showing it because shes tough like her momma but her mommas scared so I'm sure she is too.

please keep us In your thoughts and prayers

we need all the prayers and positive wishes we can get.

Cathryn, You have an amazing strength to be able to share your family's hardship with us. Our brains are very complicated yet are adaptable. Given the right medical care and time your daughter's situation will improve. It can never be fast enough or good enough for families though. I hope you can develop a trusting relationship with a staff person at that hospital who can keep you accurately informed of your daughters progress. Thanks again for sharing.
