My trees are deeper in the woods and buried in deep snow. Just starting to trickle today so hope to be in full swing by the end of the week.

finished here this weekend. Could probably do 2 more days but I'm tired. 21 gallon all told for this year. mike
I've made just a little over gallon from my two yard trees. My trees on my other place I tapped last Thursday most ran right away. Checked them last Saturday didn't have quit 10 gallons sap from 25 taps??? not sure what happened? Trees are not running for some reason? I did have some buckets that were actually in a hole in the snow to get them on the ground. Not sure if all the snow around the trees is the issue? I'm going tomorrow to check them but don't think I'll have any buckets running over like last year.
My two home trees have not run well last couple days? Last year at this time I was almost done with my little season.

We have about 135 trees trapped in northern Langlade county, all gravity lines. Taps went in on Friday and we had about 165 gallons of sap by Sunday morning. Long range forecast looks good, we may have taps in through Easter weekend if it holds true. We made 40 gallons last year, hoping for around that much again this year, but we'll take whatever we can get.

Got just about 6 gallons made up so far. Looks like we will get about another gallon to 1.5 gallons by thursday, then it is over for us. Temps look like they will be too high.
