Leaving kero in torpedo heater ? - 04/24/19 05:13 AM

I have a Mr. Heater "torpedo /salamander " type kerosene heater for the barn. I was putting it up for the summer and it still has about 1 to 2 gallons of kero in the tank. Do I need to drain it before storage like gasoline equipment, or is it fine to leave it in till winter ? Thanks

I fill mine before storage, keeps condensation out of the tank. Kero wont break down like crappy gas does.

Don't even need stabilizer. I have an emergency lamp supply that's 20-25 years old and is still fine.
