The dock master and his brother here in the marina are from there and still have family there. They where all up and shouting here in from t of their radio. I offered them the use of my sailboat to get there and a couple of rifles so they could help in the fight for their country. All over sudden the subject changed to how much of a danger to the local fish population the lion fish pose and if it would be safe to handle them with thick rubber gloves.

Maduro won the election, by a lot. Just like the Ukrainian president, who won the second from the last election, who also won buy a lot before being deposed with European help. Europe wants what Venezuela has too and they want us to help them get it. There are no good guys in this conflict. There may be slightly less bad guys.

OK convenience.

Politics and self defense...come on does anyone actually care if their friends ain't watching?

BTW the OP lives in Minnesota. He can carry all he wants unless specifically asked to leave. If concealed, who is going to know enough to ask him to leave???

Personally, I use Sam's. I go through a tank of gas everyday, and there are several locations where I can fill up nearby. Their gas price is often $.20-.30 below the average.

Ok conflict is bad . BUT if I was a soldier / police man and some dumb A$$ started throwing rocks at me !!!! I'm standing there with a fire arm. Watch em scatter. Yea this so called new deliverer went out in streets , fired them up, then ran for cover. One thing about it if a military vehicle was coming down the street don't think I would run out in front of it.

Just think how fast the illegal problem would stop if the U.S. would just start shooting trespassers !!!!!!!!Everyone that supports the 2nd say they want to defend what is theirs. So let the Us government defend what belongs to Us.

I don't know if it is true or not, but...I heard on the radio that Maduro was sitting in an airplane on the tarmac ready to leave. Supposedly the Russians talked him out of it.

Yup. All true.

Also look into Operation Condor.
CIA overthrew gov's all up and down C and S America. (By the way, overthrow means murder thousands of helpless civilians while lying about it.) Fighting communism you say? Then why did 100% of them end up as Cuban style socialists, aka communists???? Even the CIA and American governance aren't so incompetent as to have a 0% success rate. Even a blind squirrel finds a nut once in a while!

We've been played. The Cold War was a hoax. The Lefties here (aka commies) were in cahoots with the Lefties there all along. Sen. Joe McCarthy and President Kennedy were telling the truth.

As if that wasn't bad enough: it's gone on in our name, and we've been paying for it.

Ready for the kicker? Just because most Americans have been clueless and ignorant of all this, doesn't mean the rest of the world hasn't been paying attention.

Make sense now why the world hates America?

I'm not against government. I am against corrupt government. There is a difference.

Heard on TV this morning that the coup was about over and Maduro had won. He said there will be severe punishment for those who instigated the coup.

Re: Say a prayer for Venezuela! - 05/01/19 02:46 PM

...the Cold War was a hoax ??
Wow - that's a new one on me, especially since I'm from W. Berlin, which when I was there was still in E. Germany, surrounded by a wall which sadly seems to be all but forgotten today.

We never viewed it as a hoax, that's for (This word is unacceptable on Trapperman) sure.

Of interest, I've never been back since '81... so the only Germany I know/knew is the divided one.

A hoax.... we'll have a good laugh over that when I see my folks on Sunday.

As for the Sam's Costco comment, maybe he's referring to where those two places get their fuel from ??
I'll have to research that later, as I want to make sure I'm still not buying any gas that comes from the Saudi's.............
