What does the US Constitution say about that sort of thing? Are any religions prohibited from teaching their traditions to their young?
Is it time to change the Constitution? Who will lead that campaign?
If a religion calls for the murder of non-believers it kind of leads to a conundrum. I believe murder , not counting the unborn, is not only against state law but also federal law. Now if the 2nd amendment was followed as it was intended to be followed, this might not be such a problem. This leads to another conundrum. How about let people practice their first and second amendment rights without infringement and these problems might be solved.
As for changing the Constitution I myself am for a Convention of States. Repealing the 17th amendment would be first on the list. A reworking of the 12th would also be in order. The addition of an amendment limiting political terms I would also be behind.
