so in the final row you see one boot worth 5, plus one woman with 2 boots and 2 scopes = 19 x one scope worth 2 = 43
Rules of math are you do the multiplication before addition thus this is the correct problem for the final line ...

5+(19x2)= 43

A math problem like this in Canada would probably have Justin Trudeau sending out the RCMP for a hate crime against First Peoples, unless of course he is firing them for not covering up his Ottawa governing.

Problems with the problem.

I contest that a single boot is almost worthless. A pair might be worth 10 in this example. But who in their right mind thinks they can sell a single boot and therefore credit themselves for it. Also I thought that was a dude, but regardless how superficial are we to sign a value to a person. You are not going to catch me putting a value on a woman (even a ugly one). Nothing good can come of that.

I don't understand how they can put a pair of boots and telescopes together, then claim they each equal one number apiece. If that was the case, each boot being worth 5 with a pair next to each other mathematically translates to 5x5+5x5+5x5 much like (105)(10)=1,050
