Can you pack a dozen Montana #3's in a usps, large flat rate box?

Set them all and wire tie them open so they stay flat. I once got a dozen coyote cuffs in a large flat rate box.

Good luck.

I have had really good luck "nesting" coils together but #3 size is about as big as will fit. I know I can get 8 #3 double longs in a large FR box so I would THINK you could get 12 coils.

I can fit 12 # 3 Victor coils in a large flat rate box. That is nesting them together and not having to set them and wire them open.

I'm thinking a dozen Montanas would fit but I don't know for sure. If the chain is attached to the bottom of the trap, packing is a bit more difficult.

Good Luck.

If you could find one of those gals that worked for Victor back in the '50-60's, I'll bet they could get 18 in that box. They had a system that worked for them. I tried to get a dozen #1 LS back in the original box....... Best I could do was 11 1/2...... half of a spring or dog sticking out!

Couldn't figure out how they did it, and got all the flaps closed up.

Talk to those folks in China who pack those tents in the boxes.

I have popped the springs loose from the levers before so the jaws are floppy.

Woo-hoo I got it. I was even able to get thirteen in one box, it's a little "bumping" but it's in there. I released the coil spring and they lay flat.

My new go-to method as well.
