We need more welfare programs. Rewarding irresponsible behavior is a good idea. Encourages people to be more responsible.

Cali, the new Venezuelan style socialist utopia. Like Venezuela, working people are leaving. For every working person that leaves the burden on those that stay ticks up, plus these programs draw illegals like poop draws flies. If my brother had any sense he would get out now.

Re: California. Role model for the world - 06/10/19 11:42 AM

I see that and you have to just shake your head. Lol It is all driven by votes and politics and CA will get bailed out by the blue in the future and then they can call the red the bad guys for not going along with their agenda. America needs to wake up and stand up against the blue party.
This would be something I could MN to do also with their liberal run state with a large immigration population.

Having done a lot of business out there I feel it’s one of the most incredible places on earth. It has the ocean, beaches, mountains skiing, deserts, heavy timber land to the north and so on. Pick a climate you want and they pretty much have it.
Sadly what they also have is a population of rats who’s very religion of zero consequence has done nothing but destroy and promote a culture of fleas. Now rather than face up to the mistakes they themselves have made the rats are fleeing the sinking ship and moving on to spread the horrible infestation to the newfound lands of the west Montana, Wyoming, and so on. These human rats will destroy those places as well with their ways and fleas.

Nope, put them on welfare programs so they want for nothing, and they can take everyone else down with them. IT'S WORKING!!! Can't you see the example California is setting? New York? Detroit? Chicago? It's working, man!!
It's for the children! In the name of humanity! Why should any person have to put forth any effort to live? This is Utopia!

They don't contribute,they are a burden,like old people.Just a drain on society.Get rid of them.

Re: California. Role model for the world - 06/10/19 05:45 PM

Hmmmm, I have read back on my post and I cannot for the life of me see where poor and old people are mentioned? I was attempting to describe the exact opposite which are the “working” folk who in all their narcissism and vanity did whatever they pretty much wanted at the expense of society and a beautiful place. Now they abandon the mess they’ve created to to find other pretty places and good people to corrupt again.
Thru it all they LEAVE the poor and old who they cannot be bothered with, to a sad, broken, sunless future with no real hope.

Yes, that has been happening for a long time now. They say the same about MN moving in and taking over areas also, they bring big money and buy up and take over and don't care about the 3 or 4 generation people that are still there.

That's probably what they do in Canada, but here in the U.S.A. we try to build up their self esteem so they will become a asset to their community and not a burden on society. When that is accomplished, in their later years they will remain and asset. So we don't have to euthanize them like you do up there.

Re: California. Role model for the world - 06/10/19 08:39 PM

Boco, once they are on the program, they have more than the working stiffs that support them. That in itself makes the working man poorer.

AOC is right. This country will end in 12 years but for different reasons. Once the democratic socialist take over which it looks they will, this country will be completely destroyed by their wacko agendas.

No federal dollars, right? Californians can put up with whatever pain they decide they can tolerate.

Giving welfare money to foreigners should make the holding back Federal dollars necessary!

Get rid of everyone who isn't rich enough to see a doctor.

LOL, They're gonna pay for it by taxing those that don't have health insurance, which is the ones the program is gonna cover!

Re: California. Role model for the world - 06/11/19 12:33 AM

Mexico is taking huge measures, to stem the flow of illegals, because they don't want President Donald Trump to put a 5% tariff on Mexican imports. Hopefully illegal aliens from Mexico will be a much smaller problem in the future.

Mexicans will continue to be a problem illegally crossing our southern border, it is only the The illegals from south of Mexico that are going to be stopped. The ones who are not back booting American money to Mexico once they get here.

One reason CA has a huge problem is weather in S.CA. No winter. Easy to sleep outside.
Deadbeats are moving there in droves. Easy to be homeless, lots of social programs, and best of all marijuana is legal.

Another is lack of good paying jobs. Illegals will sleep 15 to a garage and work cheap. State government insists illegal immigration is a good thing and protects them. Feds refuse to prosecute employers.

There is a lack of housing. It is scarce enough to make real estate prices the highest in the nation. Catholic latino's are good breeders. Birth control is a sin and big families are still a good thing in their culture.

Agriculture is still big but shrinking all the time. The biggest industry is still entertainment. A lot of money for a few and state government but not much for most. Oil patch was big but nut jobs are doing all they can to stop that industry. Still some big cow calf operations but the calves all get sent to TX and KS to get fattened up so they can be slaughtered and hauled back.

It is one big cess pool and getting worse

Entertainment is a big industry. Boco's favorite folks have to have something to pass the time until the next free meal.

I believe it's Germany that has the welfare answer.
You can be on welfare - but you have to show up at a designated point each morning and put in 8 hours of work each day.
Picking up trash, mowing grass, etc. - for minimum wage.

Minnesota does have its share of problems, including a fair amount of liberals and immigrants.

Even so, I still breath a breath of fresh air every time I realize that, at least, we ain't got Snowy.

Yup, I can testify to that since I am from there....
My poor mother keeps saying this above over and over regarding those on welfare here in the states and i have to remind her that it don't work like that over here.

That's a laugh? When I do visit my relations on my native side in MT they laugh and make disparaging remarks about you and your 3 and 4 generations who have taken their land, destroyed their way of life, and locked up the old and young on piddly reservations where before you and yours came they rode wide and free, supported themselves and each other. You are hypocrite. Be mindful of casting stones.

Nobody is keeping the natives "locked up" on reservations. They are free to leave if they wish to go forth into the world and put forth some effort to improve themselves.
