Fire spider. The eat petroleum products, but only at high temperatures. They're very rare. Highly recommend pouring gas down that hole and lighting it on fire, that's the best thing you could do for that poor guy.

That is why I carry a Kobalt “BFH” everywhere I go
My Big Framing Hammer allows me to El Ka Bong any spiders as that one and any I see.
You know that the picture is actually reduced in size to make the “Trap Door Spider”
look small, but they are actually big enough to crawl out of their hole , grab you and drag you back down into the hole with them. If you aint got a “BFH” with you, you’re a goner!!!

Just not sure they are supposed to be in your area. lol
They are small, so the size, back and head markings all look just like what we have up here.
Edit: Yup, looks like they are native to arkansas
