Politics aside, I don't believe any American flag, historic or not, belongs on a shoe.

I don't buy shoes based on political statements. I buy shoes based on the quality of the footwear. If a boot company was to make a more patriotic boot then I wouldn't buy it if it was crap.

Nike will feel the pain monetarily, but I doubt they'll learn. Most people who quit them will stay gone.

A lot of Nike products are made in china and vietnam. Guess I don't understand the whole brand loyalty thing.

I read that Nike sales are up since they hired him as a spokesman. I think it will hurt them in the long run. I don't understand why any company would take a political stance unless it's something almost everyone's on board with. My last shoes were Sketchers and very comfy and well made, much better than my old Nikes.

They had increased sales after the last go around. That's why they listened to him.
