I'm gonna have to go with Rex123 on this one. Looks to be a painful one to with no sharp edges and the restrictor wires.

Cordite holder for the rock drill blasting. 1950's they used a lot when leveling the Trans Canada Highway with all the rocks.

During early 1900's was used as bait holder, when a trapper could not afford a lot of traps.As set out the animals where still walking around baited can when trap checked. Said trapper used a dispatch stick for collection of said fur.Tut
