Glad to hear that Iowa will be hosting. Went to an Iowa convention last year, and you guys make a fella feel welcome. Appreciate that.
Looking forward to it, use to go to the Spencer fair all the time. Been a long time ago but the grounds are nice
That will be a long one for me......19 1/2 hours - each way!

Only if we get enough volunteers to sign up. Escanaba is planning on bidding for that year also.
Cotton, it's in Kalamazoo next year. That's east if the big muddy. 😀
I have been up to Escanaba twice I think in the last 5 years or so. I will say its a decent trip up, but I really enjoy the summer weather up there. Not to knock you southern boys cause I like heading south to trap in January - but I am just glad it is not down south in the middle of summer......the NTA was in my home state last week and it was a good show, but it was hot. I'd likely have preferred going back north.
That ground up there in Escanaba can take a pretty good rain shower and you wont know it rained by afternoon. I can also sleep outside in the summer up there pretty well....guys up there in Michigan do a good job as well.

Hopefully the nearest rest room won't be a quarter mile from the camping area, eh?

I think it was closer to a half mile! Least it seemed that way in the morning. First place I ever had to get in the truck to go pee!

Hogwild I know all too well about the volunteer crew. That is what I meant when I said if all goes as planned. I was one of them at 2013 that missed out on a bunch of things I needed but by the time I had a free hour to shop they were gone. Mike Bruns and his CO's had to man the buildings from open to close with no breaks. Yeah our time at Lima was bad
