That's what people thought here in WI when we finally got conceal carry a few years ago...shootings did not go up. People need to stop watching the news as its controlled by the left. People are to easily brainwashed.

Now from what I understand the media is trying to tie in the first shooting to the rhetoric of the orange man. Supposedly the shooter had some kind of manifesto about killing Hispanics. Two questions, did the El Paso shooter actually kill any Hispanics and have they confirmed the manifesto belongs to him? Sorry for bringing this up in this thread but the first one is deleted.

somethings up guys!!...........we are all smart men here, and we as trappers are very good at observing things.....but you guys gotta be seein the same thing I do......I don't know the details of this last shooting in dayton........but the majority of these shootings involve a white male,,,,late teens to mid twenties,,,usually an outcast, on anti-depressants or simmilir meds,,,,and usually a semi-automatic weapon involved..........coincidence???

The Ohio shooter was neutralized by armed officers that were in the vicinity very quickly and inflicted a massive amount of casualties for the time he was shooting .I wonder how he trained .

Reason they use semi-auto is that full auto are not as easily available.

Looks like the Dayton LEO's did an amazing job, they deserve serious kudos because they saved a lot of lives. Here is imo, a great interview that makes a lot of sense from the Lt Gov'r in Texas.

Yep. The intent of these sociopaths is killing as many people in as little time as possible. Semis are the best, easily available way to reach their goal.

I lived in Dayton most of the time between 1988 and 2012. I know the Oregon District where the shooting took place fairly well. The Oregon District is the old bar and party district of Dayton. It is a gun free zone. It is extremely crowded in the evenings. Thousands of people go there on a normal night. If the shooter just randomly shot down the sidewalks, he should have been able to shoot more people then he did.

Both areas were gun free zones. Mexican immigrants do not have the same gun culture as many conservative white Texans. In the Oregon District in Dayton, patrons are checked for weapons before they can enter a bar. The no weapons policy is strictly enforced in the Oregon District. Fortunately there is a satellite police office in the Oregon District and the police carry.

More people are killed by knives, revolvers, semi auto pistols and many other things than semi auto rifles, but your answers and left liberals is to ban assault rifles. You protect the criminals, demonize law enforcement, encourage illegal immigration and anything else that will get their vote. With every crime, the blame is put on the criminal that committed it. Some guy burns down a hose and the arsonist is convicted if caught and has to pay for his crime in the justice system. Same goes for a robber, thief even tax evasion. Not so with a shooting. Now the blame is put on the gun and society has to pay for the crime by getting restricted. Weird hw that works isn't it?

Any of you have children or grand children playing Fortnite? Fortnite is nothing but a killing game and it is huge. They just had a tournament and there 40 million contestants, 30 million purse and a 16 yr old kid won $3 million for 1st place. If you want to talk about gun control, the entertainment industry would be the 1st. When I was growing up, it was pac man and centipede. My daughters generation was Mario brothers, etc. My grandson's was grand theft auto and now Fortnite. But nobody wants to admit it and the left doesn't want to step on the entertainment industry. Maybe it's time for the Trump administration to bring them inline.

The second person the killer shot was his sister. I strongly suspect he was angry at her, that she was his primary target and possibly some of her friends as well.
