Mechanics, need some help - 08/17/19 10:51 PM
2017 ram won’t start, got power/battery fine. Turn the key and nothing, first couple times disconnected the battery and started now nothing.

Maybe bad connection where the battery connects to solenoid or starter ? Always need a good ground as well.

I've a 2005 vette that does the same thing. Fully charged battery, push button, won't start. Have been told it may be a module in the dash behind the radio. Has been at a shop for weeks but the guy doesn't seem to want to mess with it. Don't know where else to take it because most shops in my area only seem good for changing mufflers and brakes.

Perhaps the safety switch so it only starts in park or neutral.

Make sure you are using the right key fob, don't ask how I know that...lol

Makes me nervous because it’s one with not a real key, kind of just plugs in the dash and doesn’t have a shifter just a knob on the dash

I would check the ground wire going from the battery to the block.
