My brother passed yesterday

My only brother passed yesterday morning, from a drug overdose. Adam was only 29 years old. Not sure yet what drug did him in, but believe it was Fentanyl or heroin. He has overdosed multiple times in the past few years, and my mom did CPR to bring him back. This time, my mom was at work and found him when she got home.
I'm heading down there late tonight (North Carolina).

Sorry for your loss, I lost a family member to fentanyl last year, scary stuff.

I lost my only brother at that same age. That was thirty years ago. I still miss him but the passage of time dulls the pain.

I’m so sorry. I lost my brother when he was 20 over s gas station fight. We lived in the bad part of town. It’s a heck of a gut punch. Sending prayers for you and yours.

It really sucks. 6 years ago, he was diagnosed with stage 4 Non-Hodgkins Lymphoma. He beat it but now is dead because of drugs. Just makes no sense. To top it off, it was 1 year and 13 days after my dad passed. We just planted a tree in my yard for my dad on the 8th. Now I'll be planting another.

Lost my own brother to substance abuse over 40 years ago. It's the worse thing that ever happened to my mother. Hang in there.
