Any place I should check out on a trip west from Indiana to Wyoming to Northern California, to Portland, to Montana, and back home? Got a few places to stop, kin, classmates, etc.

Museum of the Fur Trade in Chadron Nebraska.

Crater Lake in Oregon

Redwoods in Northern California

I'm sure you will get plenty of other suggestions. You will be covering a lot of territory.

Have fun and drive safe.

The Redwoods north of the Golden Gate are a sight to see. Craters of the Moon National Monument and/or Yellowstone NP for sharp contrast to Indiana.

Mammoth dig in Hot Springs, Custer State Park, Reptile Gardens if your into spiders/snakes and alligators, Jewel Cave has a spelunking tour so does Wind Cave, the Bad Lands is cool. Don't waste you money in Deadwood they don't payout much there try the 1st gold if you do.
