large turtle

got this one the other day 18 inches got three + pounds of boneless meat

What do you think of turtle meat? Never ate it myself

Thats not a big turtle. 18" is a 18 yr old turtle . u only got 3 lbs of meat ....leave them to grow to min 25 in. good eating .....enjoy....

Turtle meat is good to eat, or I should say chew. I knew an oldtimer that said you chew it until the flavor is gone and then spit it out.

Id much rather eat a leatherback but i like snapper every once in awhile .you have to fry it on low heat

I agree with Bigfoot on softshells much better eating but I like both.
