No the govoner froze the prices. I BET THEY ENFORCE THEM. Here in Ky after Katrina it went to 4 bucks a gal. NO wait, It went to 4 bucks 2 days before it hit. AG investigated . Gas co won...... imagine that.

there’s a gas station company here in Vegas that has a 3 hour window where you can fill up your vehicle with fuel at .66 a gallon at a random location on random days for the entire month of August. They are celebrating their 66th anniversary. The lines are miles long. And it’s a true fill up, not the “5 gallon limit per vehicle.” Of course you can’t fill up cans, but I was able to fill up my truck with diesel for $15.
