Les, I had ham too. Cooked up a 18.65 lber on the grill. Have some bean soaking for tomorrow with the bone. I left plenty of meat on the bone too.

Around deer season, I'll split a hog with my brother and it will be venison or pork all winter, and walleye.

i made new potatoe and pea soup for dinner yesterday and am smoking my final rear ham of venison from last season.time to get one for "crop damage"

A pound of baby portabella mushrooms, fried with sliced onions, eggs and butter. A great meal. No photos tonight just eat and take it easy for the night.

I had venison roast in the crockpot, and a sauce pan of green beans.

Lol! Sour cream and onion soup mix. The best chip dip in the world! Wish I had a chocolate bar to chase all that salt down.

I don't consider myself poor. But I did have ramen for lunch and left over spaghetti for dinner, just now a tomato Mayo sandwich before bed.

I had a fine fresh-kilt Elk burger on a onion bun w/catsup, mustard, and some fat dill slices. Oh, and a baked tater too!

Zim and I just got back to the hotel in Marshfield. We set up a few things for the Trapperman Feed tomorrow and then went out for Mexican food.

Just had two small grilled bluefish with a chunk of italian bread to soak up the olive oil,garlic,onion, parmesan cheese grilling sauce washed down with one Guiness Extra Stout . Finishing it off with some Amish cantaloupe I just picked up in Lancaster Pa . Very sweet and juicy . Jurassic , I'm sure that stuff is good cause you're eating it but it looks like it came from a baby diaper ! lol
