Top of the bill says "federal reserve note". Meaning its a debt made by our government to be paid back with interest. So the more you make, the more you pay back kinda goes hand in hand,, but you guys probably already knew that. The poor have very little to pay back and lucky for them, we support em with programs. Lol.
