Biden wants to ban sales of assault weapons and large-capacity magazines. He is also one of the architects of the since-expired 1994 ban.
He proposes buy--backs for these weapons. I'm not sure whether he means mandatory or voluntary buy-backs.
At least he doesn't propose mandatory gun legislation and federal licensing.

he's a democrat, and has a pulse...
He's crossed the threshold of requirements, therefore we must vote for him.

serious question: is there a pro-2nd Amendment Democrat running for President?
if so, please identify him/her/it.

We’re all, including folks who loath Trump...gonna vote Trump. Democrats have absolutely nothing to offer and everything to take.

Whoever wins the primary will be pro-second amendment when he/she runs to the right to win the general election.

Dirt, you give me a ray of hope!
A changed position makes the original stance hard or impossible to implement. Especially with a GOP-controlled senate.

All pro-2nd Amendment folks nationwide should pick a date and time certain and meet...en masse...with your firearms...at your local police stations and discuss the terms of surrender. Don't allow them to pick us off one by one.

"Only Montana Governor Steve Bullock pulls decent NRA ratings—a 43—but he doesn't look to be anywhere close to the top tier of candidates right now."
Bill Clinton and Jimmy Carter (former little known male governors) polled the same a year before they won.

Biden is joke and is only running to fill his coffer.
The guy would be what....75 years old if elected? There's a minimum age for the POTUS and there should be maximum age for first term also.

Not only is he a joke but there are so many charges and questions about corruption it isn't funny. These libs whine about the emoluments clause....... Gimme a break !! Sleepy Joe ALLEGEDLY extorted a billion dollars from the Chinese for his son's company. The Dems are worried about a few hundred bucks a night at a Trump hotel ????????? The joke is one them !

We have had some mentally disturbed individuals perpetrate random heinous acts against soft targets. What is going to happen when jihadists, pouring into the country, plan and orchestrate specific acts of heinous violence? I am thinking that it would be a good idea if concerned citizens were not just allowed to bear arms, but should be encouraged to do so.

After listening to Beto, I'm ready to buy another "assault weapon."
The question is, should it be an AR-15 or an AR-10? The AR-10s I've looked at seem way overpriced.

Do you have a practical use for them? I'd rather shoot things with my bolt action 300 win mag. Things called food.

I agree, Dirt. Even better, I like single-shot rifles.
I'm just thinking about dedicating a rifle to Beto. Joe better watch out, or I'll buy one for him too.

I'd go with the AR-10. If just by chance multiple targets line up, the heavier bullet can take them both. I've had that happen with caribou ! In fact I think I'd go with the M1-A

I have a Colt Sporter in 7.62X39. Pretty big pill, but less recoil than a 308. More like the recoil of a 30-30. Ballistics are similar too.
