Delaware Trappers Crab Feast and October Meeting

Delaware Trappers will be having a crab feast on Saturday, September 28th at 1p.m.

The October monthly meeting will be Tuesday, October 1st at 7p.m.

The location is the Townsend Sportsman Club in Townsend Delaware.

I look forward to meeting anyone who would like to attend one or both of the above mentioned events.

Yes it is. We usually get a few bushel of crabs and then a mess of corn.

More than a bunch, less than a load.

Trying...son's moving to Florida Oct.1 and I'm supposed to be having lunch on the 28th in Wilmington before they leave. Might try to leave downstate early and stop by on the way up... spousal influence is heavily involved... might have to put my foot down, or beg... will def. try.

Well we hope to see you. If not, oh well, family first and all. Maybe you can stop by on the way through.

Had 40 people at the feast, got 6 new members.

Tonight’s meeting was well attended, probably 20-25 people came.

The fur bearer biologist was there and talked about his upcoming otter research that he is doing. Any Delaware guys want to donate otter carcasses, he is accepting them you can call him (302) 735-3600 ask for Jesse.

I think he is also accepting muskrats for a study as well.


The hunter education coordinator was there and talked about the upcoming basic trapper education class. It will be on December 1st.

You on the Philly side of PA ?.....Rob bettah have more than a couple bushels of crabs....if were crashing the party
