White Humming Bird

While I was away on a fishing trip we had the guy hit one of our feeders for about a week. Would of like to been home to see it up close. Have no idea is this really rare or not.

I have seen a lot of hummingbirds. mom and gramma both had feeders when I was a kid. never seen one before

Ahh...the rare and exquisite Ivory Powdered Hummingbird. Be very careful...it’s been known to carry off small children.

That is one of the neatest bird pictures I have ever seen! We used to have one around here with one white tail feather. He'd perch on a stick outside our kitchen window and watch me drink coffee in the morning.

I have seen partially white robins , and a once in a lifetime pure white raven sitting on fenceposts in a row, with his three black family members , but have yet to enjoy a white hummer. Great capture.

Eyes and bill look dark. Thus more likely leucistic than albino.

I saw a white raven in CA a few years ago. Never told anyone about where it was though because the indians would have tried some sort of crap about it.

Had a piebald grackle hanging around here earlier this summer. Had a white head and mottled white though his body. We've had several robins through the years that would have some white on them.
