LED Lantern - 10/01/19 04:50 PM

I want to buy a LED lantern that I can hang up and use in my fish house this winter. Anybody have any suggestions?

I've got 4 or 5 lanterns from Costco that work great the newer ones will even charge your phone. Keep them for power outages and use them in hunting camp every year about $20 each

The guys brought some to the shop that look like trouble lights, hook on the top and the base is Magnetic. Sure are handy buggars. I think they got those at Home Depot.

I need something with a handle or a hook so I can hang it from the ceiling. Both sound like good recommendations.

T7, my buddy just got 4 of these for 5 bucks a pc at dollar general. You can use them with the old big 6v battery or with 4 AA batteries like his. Super bright and light as a feather. Dorcy 6v LED Lantern.

That looks like a nice lantern, but I need something I can hang from the ceiling to light the entire 5X7 fish house. I do think I'll check out our local dollar general and pick up one of those, though. For the money, seems like a pretty good deal.

Just thought, this summer I took along some small led lights, small battery driven, and I hung them over doorways in the remote cabins we fished out of. They come on automatically when dark. They advertised them as stair tread lites. Maybe one inch by two inches. They say 30,000 hours to a little battery.
One or two those screwed to a little piece of wood with a hook on it?

Go to amazon. Type in LED lantern. They have the type that slides open with hooks on top.
You can get like 4 for $25. I have 4 and have had them for 3 years and not had to replace batteries yet.
Took them elk hunting and used two all week and worked great. Have them at the house and use all year long at times. They are very bright.

2 of these light up a 14 x 16 wall tent no problem might need sun glasses in a 5 x 7 fish house.
