Hunting in November - 10/02/19 12:53 AM

I'm going to take 2 weeks vacation to hunt this November .... Was thinking about taking one week early in the month and one week late in the month to hunt in the snow ..... I have a couple different camps to hunt out of in the foothills of the adirondacks .... Looking for advice on when others have had the best luck during the rut ? Lets hear some success story's and dates ...

can't beat a few inches of snow on the ground. You can see the runways. What deer are in the area. Bush is quiet , with the leaves covered.. But really any time you can get to the bush , is good. Don't know if grouse are open then as well, they make a good hunt better. old 243

16 November last year. Followed this boys tracks into the edge of a pine forest backed by a swamp. Set-up around 2 PM and waited.......got him walking out about 30 mins before legal light was gone. Saying that everyone else that was hunting said the deer shut down with the first big snow fall. Not sure about that but I was a fan.
