Track ID - 10/05/19 03:27 AM

I saw this post on Facebook. Anybody have any ideas? When he mentions loading ramp he means a boat ramp I believe,

Ok So I've been in the woods 40 years and this is a new one on me. I've looked at all kinds of track charts and seen nothing that's even close to these tracks that were on the loading ramp this morning. Small animal I would say no larger than a coon. Tracks rounding with a pad in middle and what appears to be 4 well I wouldn't call them toes 2 in front and 2 behind the pad and front and back feet left same track about the size of a 50 cent piece. Somebody tell me what it is [Linked Image]

A razor clam in action and they all look like something out of Alien.

I think they may be deer tracks on a very soft surface, after some erosion has taken place, possibly from water swirling or dripping as the deer walks.

I don't know what made them but sure don't look like deer tracks to me. Tracks are inline like made by coyote or fox!

Goat
They walk on their toes. That's how they climb on top of everything. My dad had some for awhile and that's what their tracks looked like.

Tip of hooves and dew claws hit the ground...
