Wood ducks were always one of the better eating birds for me. We shot an island that was full of corn as well, which probably didn't hurt their diet.

Gotta use the thin cut bacon and yank them from the grill as soon as the bacon starts to brown, must be medium rare! Delicious, I marinate mine in Italian dressing and make kabobs. Onion, pineapple, green peppers. Sometimes I baste them with brown sugar and butter while they are grilling. I like blue wings the best but woodies are also awesome.
