Beaver Trappers Only !!

Took a ride to the Tamworth Distillery in Tamworth NH...this afternoon. Their Batch of Eau De Musc has just hit the shelves ! That’s right ....beaver castor flavored Burbon !! Got me a few....cant wait to try it !

It is some mighty fine tasting liquor. It's hard to believe there's castorium in it. I couldn't detect it.

Maybe it’s a marketing thing...to lure us trappers in...I fell for it ...lol

If you cant taste the castor Paul,just add some more,lol.

The Frenchmen here put castor in their gin.

That is genuine bäverhojt. From what those who have imbibed in it, one woman stated that after drinking it, her husband said it was not the room that stank like musk, it was her. She showered, that helped, and showered the next morning. She did not think she would repeat the performance.

Bävergäll, is something that would be most interesting as an elixir, say if people ran through the bear woods, or wolf forests, in big things which eat beaver, if exuding beaver musk through human pores, would make a human a giant lure dispenser or a bear snack. Be interesting having a pack of wolves chasing down a two legged beaver. Then again, be good bear bait over bear bait, just take a shot of beaver balls and get a shot at a bear.

Just as asparagus has interesting urinary effects, everything an animal eats, comes out the pores. Suppose it will save on cologne, but you never know what it might attract.

I just moved to south central north Dakota and I'm try to figure out how they trap beaver here. I like to set conibear traps under ice, but I'm having difficulty with the baits. What can I use for a bait that I can stick to the trigger? There is no poplar trees around here just cattails, so what else can I use or do I need to get some poplar trees shipped to me?

I think you just take a chug or two from your flask of Eau de Musc and pee behind your set. No need for poplar!

Legend has it that my GG Grandad traded a canoe full of plews for his woman back in the day, when that sort of thing was legal and encouraged.

The bottle that was given to me was priced at $65.00 for the 6.5 ounce bottle. Ten bucks an ounce.
