Wish I'd had the sifter for the weekend, you wouldn't believe the Macguyver thing I was using lol... I robbed the steel cage off of a broken fan for a sifter lol.

PIneDoggin... I am no land trapping expert, but it seems like it will work just fine and should last forever... it will definitely work better than the fan cage LOL

Plan is to boil the sifter along with the traps and give everything a dip in rust paint/acetone

Everything was dipped last night and hung to dry... I'll post pics when I get home. There was an unbelievable amount of grease on the sifter so I had to add dawn dish soap to the pot to get it all off.

The plastic zip tie survived the boil just fine (didn't notice it in there until after I was done)

I'm fairly pleased with my purchase and with the quality of the finish from the rust paint/acetone dip.
I think I will get years of good service out of this stuff.
Even though you all already know it, I'd like to say that MTP is a great outfit and I can't say enough good things about them.
