I’m lucky to have the wife I do. No matter the season she keeps our house in tip top shape and decorated to the season. She started setting up Christmas trees today and decorating for Christ birthday. I tell her every year that she’ll never know how much it means to me and the boys. The twins are seniors this year so I’m sure she will do something extra. A few pics

Decorations look great Pawnee! I always appreciate when people take the time to decorate nicely for the holidays. My wife is planning to put the tree up and decorate on Thursday. I always look forward to it!

looks good, my wife did up our house over the weekend. She always puts a Santa hat on my deer heads , and thinks it's the funniest thing.

The Mohican is much the same. She can't get enough Christmas music either.
Interestingly among all the incredible and lavish decorations, she asks every year for a live tree, a "Charlie Brown" tree. She has an incredible collection of ornaments and things but the tree is spared most of them.
She says the tree must be humble, and simple in its beauty like the baby it represents.

My wife goes all out for xmas. She put up 6 xmas trees plus load of other decorations. I started before Thanksgiving.

Thanks for the comments. She will start decorating the trees today, so I’m looking forward to getting home tonight.

JimT and upstate NY. I’m real proud of that fireplace. It took me about two weeks to complete when the wife and I built that dining room. The mantel is a piece 4’x16” timber I took from the first cattle pen my great grandfather built when he started our farm.

Love the ceiling. Wish mine was done like that. Décor is nice too of course!
