Is a cashiers check the same as cash and can it be cash at any bank?

Anyone can print a check, very few can print cash. My feeling is check is never as good as cash but a cashier's check done by a bank that is well known is the next best thing.

a cashiers check can be easily forged. if your selling something major to a stranger go to your bank and do a direct money transfer

My wife works at a bank and says you really have to watch those checks anymore.......

I was paying for a revolver out of State, with a Banks money order. The seller tried 5 banks in his area and could not get them to cash it And this came from my bank.

After that I only use Federal Postal Money Orders . Always cashable.
