I have seen pictures of nearly black coyotes before. This is the first ever brindle coyote I have ever seen. Congratulations on a very unique colored catch.

Thanks alot guys, much appreciated. Most of my coyotes are in suburban areas, this one is as well. York county, Pa. 52 Carl yes it has the white patch on the chest.

Black phase wolves have that white patch too. I have always wondered if all of the black coyotes have wolf DNA in them.
