Prayers Please.

I could really use some prayers, if y'all find the time.

I had a 'spot' removed from my left temple, Monday, and the test came back "Basal Cell Carcinoma".

Had a general physical last Thursday, and my PSA is at 8.5. Above 4 is not a good thing. Scheduled for a prostate biopsy next Wednesday.


Scared to death and need all the help I can get.

Your thoughts and prayers will be greatly appreciated.

But one word to ease your mind. The PSA reading is not always the indication of cancer. TONS of things can give you a false positive.
1 prostate infection
2 you and misses got busy 24-36 hrs before blood work
3 getting old

Read this it has about 10 things that can cause it.

With that said if it is 90 % chance of curing. 100 % if in early stages. About 20 different ways to treat it .

Charlie,I don’t know you but you must be a god fairing man by your request. I’ve never been in your situation personally,but something I was told along time ago that brought me some peace was “ no reason to be Scared if you have Jesus in your heart”. We will live forever with him. Kinda simple but as I said,it’s helped me through some dark waters. Good luck and think about that when your mind can’t rest and anxiety begins to chip away. Sorry to hear and praying you get the best possible news.

I was talking with a guy the other day and he said his psa was 130 he had chemo and radiation treatments and all is fine now, that was 6 years ago and he still runs his butcher shop full time.

I know you are tough as they come, and mindful of looking into any health issue asap because of those that you love and want to cherish , always.

As others have mentioned, addressing any issue straight away proves that and insures your success.

Charlie no worries at all should cross your mind ! IF it is cancer you can kick it to the curb and be back to your old self in nothing flat or in other words if I can whip cancer I'm certain that you will also IF that's what they find.

Charlie, I had prostate cancer 6 years ago. The treatments they have these days are varied and very successful. Especially if caught early. And if you would like, I will PM you the process of a biopsy, might help ease your apprehension.
