I love old Walter … he kind of reminds me of Me... except I have more hair. I could watch Dunham for hours... he is so funny and right on point most all of the time.
Thank you for posting those... too bad todays comedy isn't as funny as this. I don't know of ANY on TV anymore that is funny... I guess if I had to explain it it in one word, it would disgusting.

I find Jeff Dunham unwatchable. I don't like ventriloquists.

Childhood trauma?

Not that I know of, though the dummies are sort of gross. I think it has to do with that I can't suspend disbelief enough that the dummies seem to be real people. Ventriloquism just seems to be a guy mostly talking to and insulting himself, while holding an ugly puppet, that moves poorly in a limited fashion.

I have never seen a ventriloquist or a comedian who sings or plays music, who is anywhere close to as funny as a good, intelligent, traditional, stand-up comedian.

Benny Hill does a ventriloquist act where he drinks a beer while his dummy recites the alphabet...it's a an amazing feat.

I must be in the minority on this one, I don’t find it humorous or entertaining at all. I dislike it so much that my college roommate sent me a shirt that said “silence I kill you” while he was bored in Iraq because he knew I hated it so much.
