Black licorice
I have chewed a little bit of everything, but I preferred levi garret or southern pride, mostly chewed Redman though because I could buy it in bulk at our sams club. Haven’t had a chew in a little over 6 years now..... a dip sure sounds good though

Copenhagen Lc Wintergreen or Redman. Lately it's been stoker's lc wintergreen. I can get a tub of stoker's equivalent to 10 cans for $16 and it's a pretty good dip.

Quit a long time ago, but I don't understand why anyone would chew/dip anything but Copenhagen. Man, a chew of Copey and a cup of black coffee in the morning!!!! I'm about to relapse. Gotta get off of this thread.

Unreal. It’s all over here. Unless I’m seeing things. Silver Creek dried up here years ago. No pun intended. Mostly Stokers when I can find it but not everyone here carries it. But, I’m slowing down and going with Grinds. Trying to quit. My 9 y/o isn’t a fan. Something about what she learned in health class.

Redman, but I can't seem to find any very often which isn't stale, or burns a hole in my tongue.
If they don't get it right pretty soon, I may just quit again.

Copenhagen for way to long . Had a guy tell me that when he quit Copenhagen he started having a lot of ticks stuck on him when he was out in the woods and tall grass . He said he never really noticed ticks on him when he chewed . I'm out in the woods and tall grass alot during tick season and have to say I have them crawling on me but not to often do they latch on

Re: Trappers favorite chew - 12/19/19 12:39 PM
Pack a day regular Redman for a lot of years... options were Beechnut (seemed dry) or Redman Golden Blend (seemed too sweet/syrupy).
Glad I quit looking at today's prices, wow... 'bout $ 5-6 around here to buy it by the pack. I used to buy 12 pack cases for $18 and keep it in the 'fridge way back when. Didn't hurt my wife's feeling when I quit, I had a bad habit of "saving" a 1/2 chewed plug and putting them about anywhere for later.
Hey... post 3000... 13 years, that's not too bad I guess... not a lurker anyway.
