Fishing hook identification help needed

I ran across this lure the other day and cannot figure out what it is used for or who the maker is. Any ideas what it is called or who the maker is ?

That Kayen Vee fish hook trap is neat. It's basically a fishing hook with basically two, spring loaded gaffs attached.

Are those still made?

It looks like you set it like a trap, with the big hooks spread out, and the small hook is the trigger which deploys the big hooks when it is pulled.

Has anybody ever used them ?
