Got my first legal to keep otter this morning

We can keep 2 a year until the 600 quota is reached. I caught 4 few years back and had to turn them all in

I also slipped on a muddy hill and fell in the lake and snapped an MB 750 on my hand, so if you had a video it would look like the 3 stooges. I was so glad I had a set of one handed setters, it was a bare left hand and I couldn't get that off quick enough, hurt a lot. Answered the age old question, does a trapper yell and maybe even cuss if there is nobody around to hear him? Yup!!

Yes that is a very nice otter. The largest one I have ever seen weighed 25 lbs. They sure can get far into those traps before they get grabbed!
